Bubble Games of the Week: February 7th – February 13th

Monday:
No Bubble Games.

Tuesday:
Xavier @ Georgia – 7PM ESPNU – A late non-conference match-up between two teams on the right side of the bubble.
Boston College @ Clemson – 9PM ESPNU – A must win for Clemson, a team that is still behind Virginia Tech and Maryland in the ACC bubble race.

Wednesday:
Texas A/M @ Colorado – 9PM ESPNU – Colorado has lost 5 of their last 6 B12 games. Texas A/M has not faired much better, winning only 1 of their last 5.
Nebraska @ Baylor – 8PM ESPN3 – Baylor is playing much better, but still have work to do before they can feel comfortable.

Alabama is one of the hottest teams in the nation.

Thursday:
Penn State @ Michigan State – 7PM BTN – Very meaningful game in the Big Ten. Both teams need this for bubble purposes and placement in the Big Ten standings.
UConn @ St. John’s – 7PM ESPN – Another chance at an additional marquee win on St. John’s resume.
Alabama @ Vanderbilt – 9PM ESPN2 – Interesting game in the SEC. Until now, Alabama has been seen as just a glitch in projected brackets everywhere. If the Tide win this game, they are officially an at-large candidate.

Friday:
No Bubble Games.

Memphis looks to build on an impressive win at Gonzaga.

Saturday:
Baylor @ Texas – 4PM ESPN – Baylor can prove their win against slumping Texas A/M was no fluke.
Maryland @ Boston College – 1PM – Maryland’s neutral-ish resume needs this type of win.
North Carolina @ Clemson – 1PM – Opportunity for Clemson to notch a second “good win” of the week (BC on Monday)
Temple @ Dayton – 1PM ESPNU – Pretty much a must win for the Flyers.
Old Dominion @ VCU – 2PM ESPN2 – I’m not so sure that Old Dominion wants to drop too many more CAA games unless they want to sweat it out on Selection Sunday.
Ole Miss @ Alabama – 4PM ESPN3 – Will be very interesting if Alabama beats Vanderbilt earlier in the week.
Southern Miss @ Memphis – 6PM ESPN2 – Both decent resumes, Memphis’ being a little stronger. Memphis is also coming off an impressive road win @ Gonzaga.
Oklahoma State @ Nebraska – 7PM ESPN3 – Nebraska is running on fumes.
New Mexico @ Colorado State – 9PM – Battle for 4th place in the Mountain West. Loser has little chance at an at-large.
Kansas State @ Colorado – 9PM ESPNU – Kansas State was one of the coldest teams in the nation, but this could be their third win in a row.

Sunday:
Northwestern @ Penn State – 330PM BTN – Must win for both.
Marquette @ Georgetown – 1PM ESPN – Marquette is looking for their 4th good win. An upset really helps Marquette’s resume out, assuming they take care of business down the stretch.
St. John’s @ Cincinnati – Noon ESPN3 – Despite their still robust record, Cincinnati needs wins. They haven’t been impressive in Big East play.
Xavier @ Duquesne – 2PM – The Dukes are looking to build on their nearly flawless Atlantic-10 play.
